What is it?
It’s a voluntary audit of your greenhouse gas usage which produces a report. The report tells you how much carbon your business uses annually and sets out high level recommendations to reduce this.
A BEgin Net Zero Audit is externally accredited by a third party aligned to the UN Race to Zero (UNFCCC).

How does it work?
We’ve designed the audit process to be as quick and easy to complete as possible. The report is entirely data driven so we’ll send you a survey with the data points we need. You can either choose to fill this in, or simply send us the raw data for us to figure out for you.
We’ll be asking you for information about things like utility bills, business travel, commuting, fuel consumed, waste management and goods and services you procure. If you don’t have the figures to hand, we can extract the data we need from your bills, invoices or contracts.
Within a month, you’ll then receive a 13-15 page report, which is complaint with UK Government legislation, outlining your annual carbon usage with high level recommendations for change, and a matrix of straightforward carbon savings to consider.
Certification should be done annually, so during the following 12 months, try to put some of the suggestions into practice and see how your carbon use reduces in the next audit.
